The vacancies are for different projects at CSIR-Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), Kolkata. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis. CSIR-CENTRAL GLASS & CERAMIC RESEARCH INSTITUTE (CGCRI) WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 08 POSTS OF PROJECT ASSISTANT, JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATE. WALK-IN DATE — 28.01.2019
1. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) M.Sc. in Chemistry (preferably organic specialization) with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
OR
BE/ B.Tech. in Electronics/ Ploymer/ Chemical/ Materials Engg or equivalent with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
ii) Preference will be given to those candidates having some research/ work experience in polymer based material development.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
2. PROJECT ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc degree with Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
ii) Preference will be given to those candidates having Honours Degree in Chemistry.
OR
i) Diploma in Chemica/ Ceramic Tech./ Engg. with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
ii) Preference will be given to those candidates having 1st Class.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.12,000/- per month.
3. PROJECT ASSISTANT-I
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Diploma in Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Mechanical or equivalent with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
ii) Preference will be given to those candidates having knowledge/ experience in Electronics circuit design and fabrication, Handling electronic equipments, knowledge in CAD.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.15,000/- per month.
4. PROJECT ASSISTANT-II
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
OR
BE/ B.Tech in Opto-Electronics/ Electronics & Instrumentation or equivalent with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Desirable: Experience in Laser Physics, fiber laser/ amplifier, Specialty optical perform/ fiber fabrication process.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- per month.
5. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.Duration: Initially 02 years, likely to be extended upto 14/10/2021.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc in Physics/ Chemistry with NET/ GATE qualification.
OR
BE/ B.Tech. in Materials Science/ Nano Science & Engineering with GATE qualification.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- per month.
6. RESEARCH ASSOCIATE-I
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: ME/ M.Tech in Opto-Electronics/ Radio Physics & Electronics/ Applied Optics and Photonics or equivalent degree with atleast 55% marks or equivalent CGPA plus 02 years of experience in the relevant field.
OR
Ph.D in Opto-Electronics/ Radio Physics & Electronics/ Applied Optics and Photonics.
Desirable: Experience in Fiber Bragg grating and long period grating design and fabrication.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.36,000/- per month.
7. JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics/ Electronics/ Optics/ Opto-Electronics or equivalent degree with NET qualification.
OR
B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics/ Opto-Electronics or equivalent degree with NET/ GATE qualification.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates having 1st class degree and two years research experience.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25,000/- per month.
The vacancies are for different projects at CSIR-Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), Kolkata. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis.
